Thursday, February 26, 2026 a group of Piece Corps Quilters came together at the Rolling Hills Library to make “Quilted Hugs”.

The Quilted Hug Project is a pay-it-forward initiative creating cozy, pocketed shawl-blankets, to donate to nursing homes or to those who you wish to give to or keep for yourself. Using scrap fabric, strips 2.5′′ wide and polar fleece, etc. The design acts as a warm, functional wearable wrap.

A good time was had by all and we got a lot accomplished.
